Goodness from Mr. Postman

Look what I received from Mr. Postman yesterday??? A surprise from the Rhinebeck peeps. Deborah & Shameka sent me some treasures from the festival to make me feel like I was there, too. Awwww! They made me cry. (Click on each photo to view properly. I don't know what blogger's issue is. It's freaked out.)

Deborah sent me a brochure, Persimmon Tree Farm "Pot Luck" in colorway R4 (future shawl), STR Rare Gems (O, which sock shall you be?), got soap? in Chocolate (yumm!), & an adorable ceramic heart showcasing the love of knit (hanging up as we speak.) She even made me a commemorative Ravelry button.

Shameka sent me a couple of Ravelry pins ('got bob' & gang on my knitting bag!) & Malabrigo Silky Wool in Viena 478 (Can't wait to find the perfect cowl for this one.) Yay!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I love all the little gifts & felt loved & missed. Come heck or high water I will be there next fall! My fool-proof plan has been set in motion. As I told Shameka it doesn't involve any maiming or offing of the "fool" who kept me from it this year, lol :-)

My middle son's question when the packaged arrived..."Is there food in it?"
I said, "There's handmade soap called Chocolate."
He wasn't keen on eating that although has got a mouthful of Malabrigo accidentally while goofing off trying to pretend to eat it. He tells me that my gift package was so girly & for grown-ups.

Ooo blogger is acting weird for ya. Least I an clicky on the pictures to admire the things I purchased for you. I knew I wanted to make you feel as if you had gone and am so happy that it worked. You know, you have all the yarn I purchased with the exception of Brooks Farms. I think the "Fool" learned a little something when this package arrived. Enjoy sis! I love ya!

Yeah! NOw you can study the map of the Fairgrounds and where the vendors are and make a plan of attack for next year. I know you like to be organized! Tomorrow, I'll be sending off my package of goodies for you. Whoever the "Fool" is, he's in for some more learning as the packages keep pouring in.

You are very welcome sweetie! I just wanted to do something special for you because I was looking forward to seeing you again, and having a grand ol' splendid time. As Mr. T would say "I Pity The Fool"! We'll show him! I am so happy that you love your Vienna colorway Silky Merino Malabrigo. A gift is not good until you give a gift that you would want to have for yourself. Enjoy your trasures, and I can't wait to see how that cowl turns out. Ahem...if you decide to do the Crofter's Cowl, you need to cast on 100 stitches, can use a size 6 needle, and have enough yarn to do an extra pattern repeat on each side. Just a tip! (Wink, wink, nudge, nudge)
