Clementine Shawlette was off the needles on 07/24/08 & I blocked it today. I soaked it in Euclan for 20 min., drained the water, & immediately blocked it out. This yarn just flopped right out to measurements with nary a problem. It was a lot tougher blocking Deborah's Juno shawl that she made for me. I'll post a picture of me wearing it when it's dry. I love how soft & warm this yarn is. The only thing I'd do differently is to do the kitchener stitch from the wrong side. I think it would have mimicked the garter ridge in the lace instead of leaving a gap of knitted rows in the center back. Or else have stopped both edges after the garter ridge row & maybe it would have looked like a normal amount of knitted rows in keeping with the lace pattern, making the join less obvious. Oh well. Chalk it up to a learning experience.

Josephine's back is finished. I cast on & have knitted up 4 more inches on the front.

Clemintine turned out beautiful! The visible join is a "design element." Josephine is looking good too. If I didn't know you were knitting a CPH, it would seem you only knit projects with female names.
Clemetine is gorgeous in all her blocking glory. I will have to remember your tips about the join whenever it comes to completing mine. Who knows when that will be. LOL Josephine is pretty pretty pretty!
Clementine looks gorgeous. I like seeing your blocking method too. Raspberry carries the day.
I love the projects! Where have you been? No updates recently. :(
