I attempted to do Saucy on 2 circ.& it is awkward. There is cabling in the middle of each of the 3 sets of 20 sts & it forces you to rearrange sts. every time you cable & for a few rows after. I ended up moving sts to have 40 on one needle & 20 on another & it's better, but tight on the last 20. I'll do the 2nd sock leg on dpns. Since I hated it so much I knit as fast as I could to get to the heel flap last night (Sigh of relief.) It's a beautiful sock, but dpns in this case would have made it more enjoyable. The upside??? I'll finish a pair of socks in record time for me. :)

Cool beans. I am on the foot of sock #1. Question for ya, have you tried it on yet. I know why they wanted you to go up a needle size for the leg. The cabling makes it really tight. Your #2's must have been 2.5 size and when I put it on my 2's the leg became tighter and harder to get over my heal. But never fear. I can get it on.
